Ingredients

Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prepare Dough:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut each sheet into 6 equal rectangles.
2️⃣ Prepare Filling:
- In a small bowl, whisk together jam and cornstarch to thicken.
- Spoon 1 ½ tbsp of jam onto half of the rectangles, leaving a ½-inch border.
3️⃣ Seal & Bake:
- Whisk egg and water to create an egg wash. Brush the pastry edges.
- Place the second pastry rectangle on top and press edges with a fork.
- Transfer to baking sheet and brush tops with egg wash.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
4️⃣ Make the Icing:
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
- If too thick, add more milk. If too thin, add more sugar.
5️⃣ Drizzle & Serve:
- Let pastries cool slightly, then drizzle icing over warm strudels.
