📝 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Lightly grease a large roasting pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Mix dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine Chex cereal, pretzels, and almonds/pecans.

3️⃣ Prepare the caramel coating: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.

4️⃣ Coat the mix: Pour the warm caramel mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well to coat everything evenly.

5️⃣ Bake: Spread the coated mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutesfor even crispiness.

6️⃣ Cool & Store: Remove from the oven and spread onto wax paper to cool completely. Once cooled, break into pieces and store in an airtight container.

Notes

Want it extra crunchy? Let the mix cool in a single layer instead of a pile.
Healthier version? Swap butter for coconut oil and reduce sugar by half.
Love chocolate? Drizzle melted white or dark chocolate over the cooled mix!
